Dear Sir,
I have been on the 3 month regimen of Dr. Natura's Colonix system for 3 weeks now with amazing results thus far and I am a skeptic. My friend's surgeon here in Victoria, BC has advised him to avoid "ALL" colon cleansing products whatsoever. He says they have been linked to causing stomach and related organ cancers.
Can you shed any light to this because I can not find one word of hard study evidence to support this neurosurgeon's claims at all. I did however find your article rating it #1 for customer satisfaction.

Editor's Comment: Mike, in short, doctor’s don’t like the competition and most know very little or nothing about alternative therapies, which is a real shame. The reason why you didn’t find any information to substantiate this surgeon’s claims is simply because there aren’t any. In all our years of research we’ve never heard of such nonsense. If anything, cleansing the colon on a regular basis may help prevent many kinds of cancers and give you an overall sense of well-being.
Almighty Cleanse & Colonix
I had seen the infomercial on Almight Cleanse a couple weeks ago and had planned on purchasing it in November. However, I had found the website on Colonix just the other day. It is very hard to find the right thing on the internet. And thanks to your reviews I now feel that I can make a good, solid decision in November. Thank you for helping people make good decisions and not be scammed!

General Inquiry
I am allergic to nuts and seafood, is there a parasite cleanse that I can use. Please help.
Sat, Oct 13, 2007 7:49 pm
Editor's Comment: Please check the ingredient list for the product you might be considering. We would assume that most would be free of nuts and seafood but it’s good to check to be on the safe side.
DrNatura Vs. Bowtrol
I was ready to order Dr.Natura for my first colon cleanse when I came across
a site for Bowtrol, when doing a little reviewing first. Then they linked
to many blogs and other sites strongly recommend Bowtrol, and many Dr Natura
Colonix users mentioned many headaches for the first few weeks and bloating,
others said were fine, and others said it passes, but no one said Bowtrol
had a problem, and former Colonix users said they switched to Bowtrol and
have found nothing like it and consider it the best on the market. Is there
any reason you have not compared Bowtrol in the study comparison of 10 colon
cleansers you did? I ask because I do not want to be scammed by Bowtrol,
and wonder if they are even any good if you did not use them in your 10
comparisons?
The Internet can lead to a lot of confusion, and so many sites are pushing
different things, and how is one able to know what is a legit site or a
company promo?
Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated! Specifically on Dr
Natura vs Bowtrol, and why you think Dr Natura is the best, or do you know
for sure about both?

Editor's Comment: Rod, you’d be happy to know that our Bowtrol Review is now live. In our opinion, the following seems to be an accurate comparison of Colonix vs. Bowtrol. (Please note that this comparison was put together by DrNatura and not Natural Healing Today.)
Almighty Cleanse
I just found your website review colon cleanses. Unfortunately it was a week too late. I purchased the Almighty Cleanse from Merazon. After starting phase 1, not only was nothing happening for my husband after 3 days but I got loose bowels pretty bad. I had been looking a phase 2 and was uncomfortable with the clay it contained. Your review of the product validated my concerns. Phase 2 was suppose to start on Day 2 but it had passed and nothing. I decided to call customer service for a refund and I was told they do not issue refunds on opened product. I am out $140. A pricey lesson. We are now considering just skipping the cleanse all together. I looked at Colonix and 3 months in order to complete a cleanse is a long time. I was hoping for nothing more than a month. We are still deciding about what to do but wanted to email you and let you know I give the Almighty Cleanse 0 out of 5 stars and suggest no one buy this product, especially from Merazon who does not back up the product.

Editor's Comment: We’re sorry to hear what you went through Tammy. The Colonix is recommended for 1-3 months. I personally used it for one month only and had great results.
Bowtrol & 7 Day Miracle Cleanse
Hello,
Thanks for having the info for the consumer to read up on. I wish EVERY product had this so we can be informed before we choose which product to buy. I am interested in seeing if you have had any follow up on Bowtrol or the 7 day miracle cleanse. I have read many good things from “consumers” but of course, that’s mostly from their sites. Have you reviewed any of these this year yet??? Thanks.
M Simpson, Thu, Oct 11, 2007 6:54 am
Editor's Comment: The Bowtrol review in now available for your viewing pleasure. We have also read some positive feedback about Bowtrol online, mostly from those who are signed up as Bowtrol affiliates and get a commission after every sale they refer to them. Otherwise, there are only four testimonials on Bowtrol’s website. It’s always good to try to find unbiased information before deciding on a product. We have not reviewed the 7-Day Miracle Cleanse as of yet.
Dual Action Cleanse
Colon Cleanse FALSE ADVERTSING ingredients list
Dual Action Cleanse by Cellular Research
Total Body Purifier
These ingredients are listed on their website but they are not on the actual Product Label.
Echinacea Angustifolia Leaf Extract - Traditionally used as an anti-bacterial, stimulates the immune system and is reported to support the lymphatic system.
Ginkgo Biloba Extract - A brain and circulatory antioxidant.
Cayenne Fruit - Carminative, stimulates digestion, and as a catalyst, carries other herbs quickly to the part of the body where they are needed most.
Pacific Kelp - Rich source of minerals, especially iodine, which aids in metabolism.
And the actual label lists Rhubarb, Aloe, Tumeric (listed twice on the label?) blue green algae, tropical almond (?) , cranberry, and lecithin (spelled wrong so I am wondering what ingredient they really mean?)
On the Colon Clear Formula
The list of ingredients on the website is missing cascara sagrada, psyllium, ginger and watercress which are on the actual product label.
There is a tiny footnote with a warning about cascara sagrada at the bottom of the info page, even though it is not listed in the ingredients list right above it. That is what prompted me to look closely at the actual label.
It would be great to have a comment on which ingredients are considered essential to a safe colon cleanse and which are potentially unsafe. (thanks for the info on bentonite and the info about tablets not being as effective).

Editor's Comment: Thank you for bringing this information to our attention Sally. This is why it’s important to only ingest supplements from a reputable source.
Almighty Cleanse
I purchased the colon cleansing products from this company in June. Tried it for 10 days and ended up having to take a laxative to even have a bowel movement. Called the company, returned the product, and was told I would have a refund on my credit card statement within 30 days. It is now Sept. 14 and it hasn't happened. When I call the company, I am on hold for at least 40 minutes each time and told a rep will call me within 2 days...that hasn't happened either. I am filing a fraud claim with the Attorney General of Texas and posting signs in my business and many in our town that this is a possible scam. I am truly disappointed that I didn't check your web site before I ordered, but I truly thought that any company that had that much money for advertising should be legit.

Editor's Comment: Sorry to hear about your experience, Carol. Please don’t give up on colon cleansing. Not all companies are the same.
Ultimate Colon Cleanse
Hello,
Your site is very informative. I am on my 3rd day of taking the Ultimate Colon Cleanse. This product is a combination of anti-parasite vegi-capsules, powdered fiber that is recommended to be mixed with juice, and Senna Leaf tea. So far I have had to rush to the bathroom almost immediately in the morning after taking the anti-parasite capsules and I feel less bloated. Other than that I have not noticed any other major changes in my skin or energy level. After reviewing some of the other products on your site I noticed scary pictures of what appear to be extremely long excrements. Is this what I should be expecting from a good colon cleanse? Also, should have a hydro-therapy to remove other residue from my colon after I finish the 30 day Ultimate Colon Cleanse? Thanks!!
Jessica, Sat, Sep 01, 2007 4:51 pm
Editor's Comment: Jessica, each person is different and you do not need to expel anything out of the ordinary for the cleanse to work. If your system isn’t very toxic, the cleanse will be more subtle, but hopefully still effective. Hydro-therapy is also an effective way to cleanse your colon but you will not get the deep, thorough type of cleansing you’d get when you’re cleansing from the inside out.
Dr Ho's Ab-Trimmer Colon Detox
Just wondering if any reviews are available on this product. Just purchased it based on an informercial on the Canadian Shopping Channel - Don't know why I didn't look up your site earlier! I would have gone with Colonix otherwise.
Thankyou.
Regards,
Del, Thu, Aug 30, 2007 10:29 pm
Editor's Comment: Hello Del. I’m sorry we don’t have a review of Dr Ho’s Ab-Trimmer Colon Detox. The product looks like a cheap rip-off of the Colonix.
